Thanks to a generous grant of almost £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund, we were able to build an accessible waterless toilet at the Fuel Land Allotments, ensuring that everyone in our community can enjoy this fantastic growing space.
The toilet has been a welcome addition to the site for all plot holders. It has also made the site more accessible, allowing us to invite students from nearby Oak Lodge Special School to participate in a community gardening project at our Community Plot. We’re delighted to be hosting the Mayor of Barnet, to officially open the toilet on 28th September 2025.
