At The Finchley Charities, our residents are true partners in shaping the services they rely on. One of the ways we bring this to life is through our Residents’ Roadshows, held regularly at each of our services. The most recent sessions took place on 24th, 25th, and 26th February, providing a space for open conversation, collaboration, and real impact.

This event was supported on this occasion by Blue Weiss from Citizens UK, and it was very encouraging to see the strong level of engagement throughout the sessions.

👏 We were delighted to welcome Blue Weiss, who led a fantastic session on listening, campaigning, and advocating as a community. His insights sparked meaningful conversations and inspired residents to see how their voices can drive real change. We are very grateful for his time and expertise.

Sometimes the best way to hear a voice is to go to where it is. That’s why our team carries out “Doorknocks” alongside the Roadshows, chatting with residents and inviting everyone to join in. These conversations help us understand our community better, ensuring no one is left out and that every perspective is valued.

While committees and feedback channels remain important, the Roadshows are a key part of our commitment to listen and act. Through our “We Asked, You Said, We Did” follow-ups, residents can see how their contributions shape our services — turning voices into action and ideas into change.

Together, we’re building a community where everyone’s voice counts. 💚 #FinchleyCharities #CommunityVoices #ResidentsFirst #WeAskedYouSaidWeDid #StrongerTogether #CommunityEngagement #CitizensUK #ListeningLeadingActing
