Carmel Miedziolka, Chief Executive
Appointed May 2023, Carmel has over 20 years’ experience as a Chief Executive of charitable organisations providing social care and supported housing services. She is a highly experienced housing and social care professional developing and delivering community housing, supported and extra care housing and complex health/social care services. Carmel has effective interpersonal and communication skills that motivate, empower and engage staff, volunteers and stakeholders, whilst building significant strategic and operational partnerships across the public, private and voluntary sectors to deliver services and increase opportunities for those facing disadvantage.
Olutoye Babalola, Head of Operations
Appointed in November 2023, Olu is an experienced senior manager with a track record of delivering high quality housing management, supported housing services, contract management, customer service excellence, health and safety compliance and efficient asset management within the social housing sector. Olu is a dedicated, dynamic and Inspiring leader who sets clear direction to achieve outcomes whilst staying true to organisational values. An accomplished co-producer, building notable and productive partnerships with residents, stakeholders and colleagues across the sector.
Kevin Duberry, Property Services Manager
Appointed August 2022, Kevin has significant estates and facilities management experience in the housing sector. Before joining The Finchley Charities, Kevin was Estates Manager at Clarion Housing Group following working at UCL as Accommodation Manager, BRE as Soft Services Manager and at Origin Housing as Housing Officer.
Derya Kamo, Sheltered Housing Manager
Appointed August 2018, Derya has significant experience within the social housing sector. After finishing her Housing Training Course, Derya started working at Grosvenor Resident Management Organisation in 2009. She quickly progressed from Repairs Officer through to Housing Officer at City West Homes providing housing for Westminster Council. Derya started working as a housing officer for The Finchley Charities as a Sheltered Housing Officer in 2018. After progressing through to become a Senior SHO and responsible for training new housing officers, she has progressed through to become our Sheltered Housing Manager. Derya now manages, coaches and supports the development of the whole SHO team, and is a key member of the senior leadership team.
