The Finchley Charities has 173 self-contained homes for people aged over 55 and who have lived in the Borough of Barnet for over 5 years in their lifetime. These homes are spread across 3 sites in East Finchley and Finchley Central.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should be over 55
- Have lived in the London Borough of Barnet for at least 5 years in their lifetime
- Be in need of sheltered housing
- Be able to live independently (with the support of a care package if necessary)
- Be of limited means
- We have a no pets policy
What we provide
- Communal IT facilities
- Safe, secure and good quality accommodation comprising self-contained studios and one-bedroom flats across three sites
- Properties situated in well-maintained landscaped grounds and located in close proximity to local amenities
- Support from Sheltered Housing Officers as and when required
- Community activities and events focussing on health and wellbeing
- A 24-hour community alarm system in all properties to assist residents in an emergency. Personal pendants and additional Telecare (?) can be provided
- Communal laundry facilities.
