We are heartbroken and deeply concerned by the antisemitic attack on Finchley Reform
Synagogue.
For many years, Finchley Reform Synagogue has been there for the community, offering
leadership, support for neighbours in need, care for refugees, and a strong sense of belonging.
Finchley Reform Synagogue, you have been here for us. Today, we are here for you. We are there
for each other.
Antisemitism has no place in our communities. An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us.
As North London Citizens, we stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and with Finchley
Reform Synagogue at this difficult time. We are in close contact with their leadership and are
guided by them in how we respond.
Our alliance brings together people of different faiths and backgrounds to act together for the
common good. We will not allow hate to divide us. We will stand together, support one another,
and continue to build strong, safe, and united communities.
We are committed not only to words, but to action. We will work with our members, local leaders,
and public authorities to ensure that our communities are protected and that hate is challenged
wherever it appears.
